Camp Chaparral is a Christ-centered, non-profit organization dedicated to providing a tranquil retreat. Established in 1971 by the Baptist Churches in the north Texas region for the purpose of providing summer camps for youth and children, Chaparral has grown and expanded its ministry and services to a wide range of ages and organizations. With 130 acres of tranquil countryside, sleeping for 560, a full service dining hall, a 600 seat auditorium and a wide variety of recreational opportunities, Chaparral is equipped to host just about any type of event with spacious facilities, a variety of indoor and outdoor activities and outstanding food service options provided by a friendly, well-trained staff. Our goal is to serve and honor God by wholeheartedly serving the guests who visit Camp Chaparral.
