In 1947, Edna and Nate Wasserman bought a small 3 cabin resort on Meta Lake, which has now blossomed into a gorgeous camp facility that is the home to over 250 campers and counselors each and every summer. Marimeta is more than a camp… it’s a feeling. For almost 70 years, several thousand young ladies have called it their summer home. Third generation camp directors Sandy and Terry Cohen have operated Marimeta since 1984. Nestled in the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin, Marimeta is situated on Meta Lake. A private 200-acre lake with no public access.
