Art Matters

ART MATTERS TO STUDENTS of all ages whose schools have drastically cut back opportunities to learn about and create art. We offer after school art experiences in which children create art using a wide variety of professional grade materials under the guidance of an award winning artist and educator, Teresa Christmas, who earned her master of art education degree from WKU. Christmas taught art in elementary schools for more than a decade and then began Art Matters in 2011. Today at Art Matters, young artists are supported and encouraged not only to create, but to learn, appreciate and draw inspiration from artists throughout history and from around the world.
