Make Expression is an organization that provides art programs and events for people with disabilities and their caregivers. They offer art classes, workshops, and activities tailored for people of all abilities to express themselves through art.

Learning doesn’t have to stop just because it’s summertime! Theatre camps are a great way for children to explore literature in a fun and creative way. Kids will transform into a superhero, a princess, or their favorite storybook character as they bring popular stories to life on stage at North Texas Performing Arts exciting theatre summer programs! With summer learning opportunities for ages 5 to 18, there’s a spot for everyone to learn from our professional directors, actors, and singers who have worked everywhere from Broadway to L.A.

Week-long camps are available in both half-day and full-day options for ages 5-13 and two-week productions are available for all ages, K-12! Each one-week camp has a different theme based on popular children’s stories like Descendants, Frozen, and Harry Potter. There are a dozen options for two-week productions, and there’s truly something for all ages, from Willy Wonka Kids to Little Women or Footloose.

Plus, it’s the perfect time to try out a theatre program at NTPA, because new students get 50% off their first camp or production! Programs are available at NTPA’s Plano, Fairview, Frisco and Dallas locations all summer long.

North Texas Performing Arts

One River School of Art and Design offers art education for all ages. They teach classes in drawing, painting, photography, and digital design. Students can take single classes or work towards a certificate in Fine Arts.

Richwoods Academy is a unique and highly differentiated afterschool program first of its kind in the Dallas metroplex which blends Education & Sports Indoor/Outdoor for both mental physical and development of young kids.

The COOP is a modern play and party space that was built for kids, but doesn't forget the adults desire to be in a space that caters to them as well! The COOP is open, it is clean, and it is a whole lot of FUN. We are open during the week for open play. Open play is $10 per kid and you can stay as long as you want! We offer snacks, juice, water, coffee and espresso for sale during regular business hours. On the weekends we are closed for kids birthday parties and much more! We would love to host your next event!

The Painted Teacup is a paint-your-own pottery studio. Customers can select a piece of pre-made pottery like a mug, bowl, or plate and paint it using the studio’s supplies. The Painted Teacup then glazes and fires the pottery so customers can take home a finished, decorative piece.
